The demand for compact vehicles in urban environments is increasing. The "SOLO" is an autonomous electric vehicle designed for individuals with fast and dynamic lifestyles. The vehicle is designed as a hybridization of an electric scooter and personal car, providing a shared transportation solution. It is available to customers at any location in a city by booking via an application.
"Solo" is an electric, energy-efficient vehicle. Battery cells are positioned on the bottom of the vehicle, such that the center of mass is beneath the passenger’s feet, which improves stability. Designated roadways with charging cells can wirelessly charge the batteries, allowing for zero vehicle downtime. The tri-wheel design further provides a stable base. The two front wheels, responsible for drive and steering, each have their own engine. The rear wheel is a sphere that moves freely and provides stability.
The SOLO's design is centered around the passenger. The vehicle's entrance is positioned for easy entry and exit. The narrow chassis and front glass cladding provide a wide field of view, creating a sense of safety and spatial orientation.
